YOU SHOULD BE FEMINIST

'NINGÚN PAIS EN EL MUNDO PUEDE DECIR QUE HA ALCANZADO LA IGUALDAD DE GENERO'- Emma Watson

El 20 de septiembre de 2014 en la ciudad de New York, ante la asamblea de las Naciones Unidas, y como embajadora de la Buena Voluntad de la ONU Mujeres, Emma Watson dio un emotivo discurso en el que defendió la igualdad política, económica y social de los sexos, y en donde exhortó a mujeres y hombres a luchar por lo que ella llamó un movimiento por la libertad.​ Este hecho ha marcado un momento en la carrera de Emma Watson en donde se le puede ver como a una artista, filántropa y mujer comprometida con el feminismo.

No os va a dejar indiferente este discurso que dió en la ONU la famosa actriz Emma Watson.

La actriz británica siempre ha estado relacionada con temas como la igualdad de género, la lucha de la mujer y aspectos relevantes sobre la diferencia de géneros. De echo, en este mismo discurso anterior podemos ver como crea un nuevo movimiento #HEFORSHE donde explicaba que el FEMINISMO no debe nacer únicamente de las mujeres, sino que por lo contrario, es una lucha de todos.

En muchas ocasiones confundimos el término: feminismo.

Echemos un vistazo a la Real Academia Española:

En la otra parte, existe la DESIGUALDAD: machismo y hembrismo.

Es cierto que a pesar de no recoger la palabra Hembrismo en la RAE, es un término bastante recurrido para explicar la actitud de superioridad de las mujeres frente a los hombres.

Manuel Alvar Ezquerra, catedrático de Lengua Española de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, aporta la siguiente definición del término:

Son muchos los discursos que se han hecho sobre este tema, como el famoso discurso de Angelina Jolie cuando recibe el Premio Humanitario Jean Hersholt en los Governors Awards 2013 en el Dolby Ballroom en Hollywood & Highland en Hollywood, CA, el sábado 16 de noviembre.

Pero a mi parecer, Emma Watson invita con el movimiento #HEFORSHE a los hombres, a que se unan a la causa. No es una lucha de mujeres, es una lucha de igualdades. Un movimiento que podemos implicarnos en nuestro día a día tanto hombres como mujeres.

Algo personal...

Desde pequeña he creido y crecido con la idea de que todos venimos a este mundo con un fin. Siempre he pensado que mi camino no está en la Moda (mi mayor pasión) sino en el amor que doy a los demás, y aún me sobra.¿Por qué no dárselo a los que no tienen nada?

Los que me conocen saben que siempre he tenido la curiosidad y creo que 'obligación' de ir a un campo de refugiados, a un país africano a dar clase a nińos o simplemente a ayudar con lo que pueda. Porque ahí hace falta mucha ayuda.

Pero familiares, amigos, conocidos.. muchos de ellos me ha respondido: ve al barrio más pobre de tu ciudad y ayuda, ve a un comedor social o ayuda al Banco de Alimentos (cosa que ya he hecho en varias ocasiones).

Pero lo que les diría a mi esas personas que creen en que primer hay que empezar por lo local para luego ir a lo global,.. le diría: la vida es una, desde pequeña siempre he tenido muñecos de color negritos (me llamaban la atención) fueran niños o niñas y creo que esa es mi misión.

Como bien coinciden Emma Watson como Angelina Jolie conmigo, es que somos unas mujeres afortunadas pero hay muchas mujeres que no tienen ninguna oportunidad, a diferencia de hombre que pueden trabajar.

Ojalá algún dia os cuente mi experiencia en algún país subdesarrollado, pero ¿sabes qué? Que lo haría más por mi, que por ellos. Porque es mi misión,¿ cuál es la tuya?

But in my opinion, Emma Watson invites men to join the cause with the #HEFORSHE movement. It is not a fight for women, it is a fight for equality. A movement that we can involve in our daily lives both men and women.

Something personal...

Since childhood I have believed and grown with the idea that we all come to this world with a purpose. I have always thought that my path is not in Fashion (my greatest passion) but in the love that I give to others, and I still have plenty. Why not give it to those who have nothing?

Those who know me know that I have always been curious and I think it is an "obligation" to go to a refugee camp, to an African country to teach children or simply to help with what I can. Because a lot of help is needed there.

But family, friends, acquaintances ... many of them have answered me: go to the poorest neighborhood in your city and help, go to a soup kitchen or help the Food Bank (which I have already done on several occasions).

But what I would say to those people who believe that first you have to start with the local and then go global, ... I would say: life is one, since I was a little girl I have always had black colored dolls (they called me the Attention) were boys or girls and I think that is my mission.

As Emma Watson as Angelina Jolie agree with me, it is that we are lucky women but there are many women who do not have any opportunity, unlike men who can work.

Hopefully one day I will tell you about my experience in some underdeveloped country, but you know what? That he would do it more for me than for them. Because it is my mission, what is yours?
